Hello! My name is Deb Center (use She/Her/Hers pronouns). I am a nurse, life coach, and executive coach. I am passionate about coaching leaders/ educators ready to grow self-awareness and confidence, especially to create inclusive work and learning environments. I strive for and promote civility, empowerment, belonging, and respect. When I first experienced coaching, it changed the entire trajectory of my life. Within six months, I knew that I wanted to help others experience the same transformation and immediately started coaching training. I have now been an ICF-trained coach for since 2011 and am passionate about helping individuals safely take risks to find their true north and light within, to empower the next chapters as they turn the page to write their journey forward! (Coaching: Connect with Center) I completed the MindValley Life Coaching Certification and believe in life-long learning consistently expanding my knowledge and skills as a coach. I also hold specialty certifications in emotional intelligence, workstyle assessments, and a variety of executive and team coaching tools. I use a trauma-informed/resiliency approach aligned to HeartMath Institute and David Kessler's on Grief Coaching. I strive to create inclusive co-creative coaching relationships and have additional training on coaching diversity and understanding neurodiversity. I have significant experience working with numerous individuals challenged to be their authentic-self at work or with family, struggling with code-switching or masking, and strive to support individuals with late-diagnosis and the journey of unmasking. I hold a PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership Psychology and my dissertation was a qualitative case study using peer coaching as a leadership development strategy.
