Dorothee Fischer

As a senior communications expert, entrepreneur and certified business coach, I am deeply passionate about sustainable development, human rights, arts and culture, personal growth, and international affairs. My goal is to communicate messages in a clear and creative way, regardless of the technical or complex nature of the context. I am also dedicated to giving a voice to those who might otherwise remain unheard and helping my clients develop their own visions and strategies, often inspired by personal development and coaching techniques such as visualization, meditation, and energy work. I offer technical assistance, training, and coaching in both communication and business development. My services include drafting and evaluating communication strategies, developing campaigns, creating internal communication concepts, conducting media outreach, managing social media, and producing various communication tools like publications, newsletters, image films, storytelling videos, and websites. Before becoming self-employed, I gained extensive experience with various programmes and projects of the European Union (Interact, Interreg IIIC). In addition, I developed and managed numerous EU-funded projects while running the Strasbourg office of ALDA, the European Association of Local Democracy. I have also worked as a journalist and producer on various international audiovisual projects, successfully securing significant funding to bring these initiatives to life. I strongly believe in genuine human connections and that effective communication and coaching stem from understanding people's unique stories and aspirations. Whether I am developing a comprehensive communication strategy or guiding a client through their professional journey, my approach is always empathetic, collaborative, and focused on unlocking potential.
