Sherilyn Brinkley

I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, Nurse Practitioner and evolving coach. I've worked in medicine for 24 years in infectious diseases helping a largely vulnerable population struggling with substance use disorders, mental health challenges and overlapping infectious diseases. I've found that I gain the most joy and fulfillment from the moments when I am truly present with my patients and have the ability to support them with a health goal. The infrastructure of our medical system doesn't often allow for these moments of connection and many health professionals feel robbed of their career goals to truly help others. My mission in pursuing Life and Viome Nutrition Coaching certifications is to learn more about myself, learn the essence of how to coach, and explore avenues to expand my reach in the world. I want to support those facing a health challenge to identify ways to transform mindset and take action in alignment with their longterm goals. A prolonged health span and joyful life are fundamental to the work I do each day.
