Ellen Long Stilwell

Ellen Long Stilwell is a registered nurse specializing in hospice care. A certified hospice palliative nurse. She has worked extensively with the dying and their families. Trained as a death doula by a Buddhist Priest with genuine empathy and compassion. Ellen is the author of two books entitled LOVE DEATH LOVE; Embracing the Journey to Death and HOSPICE: A DIFFERENT TYPE OF HOPE; Criteria for Choosing your Hospice Team Sooner. She is also on the faculty of Adelphi University, New York, teaching CARING FOR THE PATIENT AT END OF LIFE. Ellen cares for the patient and family in the home on hospice care, "the heart of hospice."
