Maria Isabel Mejia

I'm a Systems and Computer Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), where I also completed a specialization in Strategic Management of Information Technology. With over 40 years of experience in managing both public and private organizations, as well as high-impact programs and projects for society, I have been a visionary leader in formulating and implementing ICT public policies. Throughout my career, I have held key positions such as the coordinator of Colombia's Year 2000 (Y2K) Project, the executive director of Computers for Schools, and the director of the Online Government Strategy. From 2012 to 2016, I had the honor of serving as the Vice Minister of Technologies and Information Systems, acting as Colombia's Chief Information Officer (CIO). Beyond my public service endeavors, I am a proud founding partner of various technology-based ventures, specializing in innovative projects and solutions for organizational digital transformation. Additionally, I have contributed as a Senior Executive at the Digital Transformation Directorate of CAF - Latin American Development Bank, leading initiatives to promote the responsible use of artificial intelligence in Latin American and Caribbean countries. I am delighted to share that I have recently achieved certification as a Paul Mckenna Hypnotherapist from MindValley. This accomplishment holds special significance for me, and I am truly proud to add this skill to my diverse professional journey. I am enthusiastic about the potential to use hypnotherapy to assist individuals in making transformative changes and fostering happiness. As I embark on this new chapter, I have high expectations of being able to help people make the necessary transformations to lead more fulfilling and joyful lives.
