Mariya Arshaluysyan

I am a business coach-consultant certified by Mindvalley. My mission is to help first-time female leaders to build a confident self-identity, lead authentically, deliver outstanding results with their teams, and live a fulfilled and balanced life. I have always been interested in Business Administration and at some point my curiosity led me to start a PhD in 2007 and investigate best management and leadership practices. However, ironically enough, a few years later when I was appointed to my first leadership role, stepped into that exciting journey with the knowledge gained from my research and with the open-minded type of personality I had become by then, I found out it is not enough to know about the best practices, you need to make them work for you, else, you need to understand the "mechanics" of human behavior to make them work for your team. While supervising one of my MBA group's thesis projects about bringing in elements of coaching into leadership practices, I fell in love with coaching as a powerful transformation tool for development of number one success factor for any company - its human potential. I come from a very traditional, male-dominated small town in Armenia. However, I have always been empowered by my father to become an independent person who is ready for the century's challenges. This empowered model of reality has never put a gender stamp on my dreams. I aspire to empower first-time female leaders to have a powerful start in their leadership journey and disclose their great potential by eliminating gender bias from their reality.
